The Statue of Liberty
Our trip to the
Liberty Island where the statue is located started from Battery Park ferry
terminal. Our ferry ride had a little twist when one of the students left her
ticket at the ferry terminal. She and our teacher had to wait for the next
ferry after they got her ticket back.
From the ferry we
could see the massive statue which is 93 meters from the ground level to the torch.
When we all got to the island we went to statue pedestal and we saw the skyline
of Manhattan. Unfortunately there was an employee who didn’t let us all go
there in one group. After we had all been up there we continued our way to
other wonderful sights.
