We visited Grand Central Terminal twice during our trip to New York. We also visited the so-called main space where numerous movie scenes and series have been filmed. I am familiar with this place from the first episode of Gossip Girl and it was fun to see it live myself. We went there around noon and it was very crowded.

In Finland, you may not be used to seeing such grand architecture at a railway station. Therefore, it was a sight to see. From the outside it looked just like a castle or some other really valuable building. The building looks old inside and out but still elegant. The color that makes the place even more elegant, in my opinion, is gold. One thing that caught my eye inside the building was a big American flag. It may be hard to imagine that there would be a large Finnish flag at Helsinki central train station.
