American Museum of Natural History
We
visited the American Museum of Natural History on our trip to New York City.
The museum looked very fancy from the outside. There were lots of people
visiting at the same time as we and many of them were tourists. There were also
several school groups visiting that had a guide take them around the museum and
tell them about the different sights.
We
were given a couple of tasks for the visit by our teacher. We needed to visit
the parts at the museum that included our target sights which were the blue
whale model, Easter Island statues, the bald eagle and the bones from all of
the different dinosaur species. It felt absurd to see all of these things in
front of us. The blue whale model was very large. It really amazed me to think
how big blue whales are. It’s not something you get to see every day. Overall
the museum was great and I really enjoyed the interior of the building. It was
a great experience and it left me amazed and interested. The museum organized
everything well and big crowds didn’t seem to be a problem. I would definitely
recommend visiting the museum!
