Experiencing 5th Avenue

5^TH Avenue

5^th Avenue is located on Manhattan. It goes next to the Central Park from uptown to downtown, and it’s about 10km long.

5^th Avenue has everything. There are shops (from high-end to h&m), museums, hotels, and everything you can imagine. The best Fifth Avenue shopping takes place between 39th and 60th Streets with flagship stores. If you aren’t interested in shopping, The Museum Mile (82nd to 105th Streets) has no fewer than eight museums for you to visit. 

While we were in New York we went to the Fifth Avenue basically every day. If we didn’t go shopping (which we did every day) we just walked through it. Obviously with our group we went to The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Guggenheim which are also located on 5^th Avenue.

One of the highlights of our trip was Rockefeller Center. We went to the Top of the Rock at about 7pm and the night view was amazing. Furthermore, we also saw the daytime view from the Empire State Building - it was pretty, too.
