Columbus Circle

Columbus circle was not a major part of our itinerary, but I got to see it both from our sightseeing bus and after our visit in Central Park. I and my friends had lunch at the Columbus Circle subway station and after that we went shopping to the Shops at Columbus Circle mall. Most of the shops at the mall are rather expensive, but there are also a few average price level shops that we were more interested in, for example H&M, Whole Foods Market, Sephora and Amazon books. Columbus circle is a traffic circle that is located at the southwest corner of The Central Park. The circle is named after Christopher Columbus and his monument is in the middle of the circle.
