Guggenheim

Guggenheim 

On Monday, October 17, we went to the Guggenheim which is a museum of contemporary and modern art. The building was incredible! It is shaped as a “cone” and you can see the sky through the ceiling. Even though I am not a huge fan of modern art, some of the pieces of art were great! The permanent collection had a lot of paintings from Pablo Picasso, for example “Woman with Yellow Hair” so it was nice to see those.

The temporary collection was a bit weird and even disgusting: there were videos of people scratching their skin. There was also a very boring video game that had a deep story behind it but I didn’t catch the point. In fact, I really didn’t get the messages of any of those modern artworks. In my opinion, the building was the highlight.
