American Museum of Natural History
Our group visited the American Museum of Natural
History on October 12th of 2015. First we got to see a 3D documentary of the
life in the sea. The document was very interesting and informative. We got to
learn how the smallest pieces in the ecosystem have the biggest meaning on
everything.
After that we were free to wander around the humongous
museum and go and see exhibitions and items that we were self interested in.
There was a large variety to choose from and surely everyone found something
that interested them.
I decided to go and see the different animals first.
The exhibition was very big and it took some time to go through the whole
thing. After that I and my friends went to look for the famous Easter Island Moai
statue. It was fun to see the head in real life after seeing it in the movie
Night at the Museum.
After we got our pictures taken with the statue, we
decided to go and see the dinosaur skeletons before leaving the museum. It is
amazing how they have collected such a vast collection of dinosaur remains.
Seeing the dinosaurs was one of the things I enjoyed the most in the whole
museum.
