9/11 Memorial and Museum
We started off
at 9am (Saturday, October 12) at the entrance of the 9/11 museum. The queue and
security checks went by fairly quickly, after which we started going around the
museum. In the museum there were plenty of screens and panels which remembered
the individual victims of the attacks. Also remains from the building and its
interiors were presented. At 9:30 to 10:15 we spent time in the auditorium,
watching two short documentaries about the day of the attacks and how it affected
the USA and the whole world. The Memorial we visited both during our guided
tour on Thursday and after visiting the Museum on Saturday.
