The Empire State
Building
We visited the Empire
State Building on Monday morning, October 14th. The weather was a bit foggy,
but the views were still incredible. From the top of the building we saw the
whole skyline of New York City and it was breathtaking. To get to the top of
the building we had to take two elevators and walk through a museum of the
building.
The Empire State
Building is located on the west side of Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The
construction of the building started in March 1930 and was completed in April
1931. The building is designed by the architectural firm Shreve, Lamb and Harmon.
It has 102 floors and 73 elevators, and it was the world’s tallest building
for almost 40 years. Inside the building there are different offices and of
course the observation deck.
