Harlem
Harlem is neighborhood in upper Manhattan. Many people
think that Harlem is very dangerous still but that’s all wrong. Harlem has lower
crime rate than for example lower Manhattan. There are some places in Harlem
that you should avoid, especially during night time, but most of Harlem is safe.
The bit that we saw of Harlem on our bus tour was kind of bad but Harlem isn’t
the worst part of town.
Next time I visit New York I am going to see Harlem
because there is so much culture there. Many great artists are from Harlem for
example Moby, every member of A$AP mob, Tupac Shakur and many more. Apollo
Theater is really interesting to me because many musicians have bounced to fame
from there. I hope that Harlem will be more popular in ten years.
