Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty

One of the most famous landmarks in New York is definitely The Statue of Liberty, or The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World as it is officially called. We visited the Liberty Island and the statue on the rainy and windy Saturday morning of October the 11th. Although the weather was not at its best the statue still managed to impress us. The students climbed to the pedestal whereas the crown visit needs to wait - highschool groups are not that likely visitors since you are only allowed to reserve four tickets at a time. However, many of us are to come back sooner rather than later, so maybe the visit will come true then - the 377 steps await!

P.s. One cool thing to check out are the webcams.
