Wall Street

Wall Street is a 1,1km, eight-block-long street from Broadway to South Street in Lower Manhattan. It is located in the financial district of New York.

               The name Wall Street has become to mean the financial markets of the United States. It is the home of New York Stock Exchange, the world’s largest stock exchange.

                Many persons associated with Wall Street have become famous. Some of them have become famous because of the skillful investment strategies, financing and reporting and others are remembered for their failures or scandals.

               In my opinion Wall Street wasn’t that extraordinary or set apart from other streets from the outside, but I guess if you visited the companies inside the buildings, the real world of Wall Street would reveal itself. The only difference was that the street was full of businesswomen and businessmen. And of course it was cool to see with my own eyes the street which I had seen many times in different movies.
